Alanya, where the sun

Due to its prime location the city of Alanya is a very popular centre in
this region. The most popular holiday resort of Turkey. The city can be identified from a distance by the big castle-hill where the "Red
Tower" is situated and dominates the coast and is surrounded by a
magnificent bay. Alanya has grown into the most developed and lively beach
town on the Southern Coast of Turkey.
There are 84.000 inhabitants officially. Appr. 122 km to the
International Airport of Antalya. Thousands of foreigners have already

This region has beautiful climate.The forecast for this gentle climate is
three months of summer and nine months of spring.With mild, rainy, wet
winters and hot, dry summers, the climate in Alanya is typical of any town
on the Mediterranean coast. December and January are the wettest months
while August is the driest.
The average temperature in Alanya is around 19 degrees. August is the
hottest with an average of 27 degrees while January is the coldest with an
average of only 12 degrees.
